The problem
A MOSFET can act as a simple analogue switch. This project shows it controlling a real mechanism with nothing but touch.
How it works
- 1Two MOSFETs are wired as touch switches, so a light contact is enough, with no button
- 2Touching a switch starts the motor in one direction
- 3When the door reaches its end, the other switch stops it, ready to move back the other way
Result
A working door that responds to touch alone.
