Software engineer
C#, .NET, PHP and Python on the backend, C++ close to the hardware, React and Astro on the front, and production systems businesses run on. By day I own cross cutting features on a multi tenant ERP; through my company, Amyola, I build my own products.

Inside a multi tenant ERP
I can't name the product or its customers, so here is the engineering without them: a multi tenant ERP, CRM and CMS used by businesses across industries, where I own features that cut across the whole product.

Need software you can trust?
One integration layer for every app
A single, consistent way for the whole product to connect third party services.
- Stack
- PHP, Platform design, Security
- One model for configuring and securely storing third party credentials
- Rolled out identically across every app in the product
- Every third party integration in the product plugs into it
A document engine that replaced dozens of templates
Invoices, quotations, purchase orders and receipts, now from one renderer.
- Stack
- PHP, PDF rendering, Data migration
- Consolidated dozens of legacy print templates into one reusable rendering engine
- Built the migration tooling that moved live tenants from the old system to the new one
- Fixed pagination, character encoding and image defects that only appeared under real customer data
A reporting service I wrote alone
A standalone Python service that plugs into the PHP platform with single sign on.
- Stack
- Python, FastAPI, SSO, ETL
- FastAPI microservice with signed, encrypted token exchange for SSO with the main platform
- Per tenant report provisioning from uploaded report bundles
- Read only access to a data warehouse, fed by an accounting sync with OAuth2, ETL and scheduled jobs
Serial numbers through the whole stock flow
Item level tracking from purchase to return, my largest single body of work.
- Stack
- PHP, MySQL, Inventory
- Serial tracking wired into stock movement, purchasing and returns
- Lifespan tracking for serialised items
- Changes carried consistently through the core library and the main app
Clinical workflows for a healthcare edition
New modules where mistakes are expensive and data must stay correct.
- Stack
- PHP, MySQL, Healthcare
- Doctor and patient dashboards
- Appointment scheduling and emergency case workflows
- Validation that stops records being deleted when they should not be
Dashboards people make decisions with
Profit and sales performance views for managers.
- Stack
- SQL, Analytics, Reporting
- Gross profit and salesperson contribution panels
- Comparison against a previous period, and top N with everything else grouped as Other
- A multi level category filter shared across the report modules
A setup flow that said yes when it should not
Finding a silent data integrity gap in production, and repairing it safely.
- Stack
- Debugging, Transactions, Production
- A self service setup could finish while one of its writes, to a second database, quietly failed
- I tested my first theory against real production data and dropped it when the data disagreed
- The real cause was a commit across two databases that was not atomic
- Shipped a guard so it cannot happen again, plus a transactional repair script, dry run first, for businesses already affected
