The problem

Doors that need a hand to open are a barrier for people carrying things, for accessibility, and for hygiene.

How it works

  1. 1A PIR sensor detects movement in front of the door
  2. 2The Arduino reads the sensor and drives a motor driver module
  3. 3The motor driver turns the DC motor to open the door, then closes it again
  4. 4The whole circuit was simulated in Proteus before it was built

Result

A working model that opens on movement, matching the Proteus simulation.
